Lo scorso 17 giugno è scaduta la seconda cut-off date nel 2015 per lo SME Instrument del programma Horizon 2020. L’EASME (Executive Agency for SMEs) ha ricevuto in totale 2.990 nuove proposte, delle quali 2029 per la Fase 1 e 961 per la Fase 2.
Le Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) sono ancora l’argomento più popolare con 823 proposte sottomesse, seguite da nanotecnologia, salute, energia ed eco-innovation con più di 300 proposte per ognuno dei topics. I primi tre paesi in termini di numero di proposte sottomesse sono Italia (570), Spagna (467) e Regno Unito (290). Dall’inizio del 2015 un totale di 5.173 proposte sono state sottomesse allo Sme Instrument, 3.598 per la Fase 1 e 1.575 per la Fase 2. La prossima cut-off date è fissata al 17/09/2015, per tutti i topics dello Sme Instrument:

- BIOTEC-5b-2015: SME boosting biotechnology-based industrial processes driving competitiveness and sustainability
- DRS-17-2015: Critical infrastructure protection topic 7: SME instrument topic: Protection of Urban soft targets and critical infrastructures
- ICT-37-2015: Open Disruptive Innovation Scheme (implemented through the SME instrument)
- INSO-10-2015: SME business model innovation
- INSO-9-2015: Innovative mobile e-government applications by SMEs
- IT-1-2015: Small business innovation research for Transport
- NMP-25-2015: Accelerating the uptake of nanotechnologies, advanced materials or advanced manufacturing and processing technologies by SMEs
- PHC-12-2015: Clinical research for the validation of biomarkers and/or diagnostic medical devices
- SC5-20-2015: Boosting the potential of small businesses for eco-innovation and a sustainable supply of raw materials
- SFS-08-2015: Resource-efficient eco-innovative food production and processing
- SIE-01-2015: Stimulating the innovation potential of SMEs for a low carbon energy system
- Space-SME-2015-2: SME Instrument.
