Lo scorso 7 settembre è scaduta la terza cut-off date del 2016 per lo SME Instrument phase 1 del programma Horizon 2020. L’EASME (Executive Agency for SMEs) ha ricevuto in totale 1938 nuove proposte provenienti da 40 paesi.
Le 189 PMI che riceveranno 9,1 milioni di euro di finanziamenti, hanno proposto 182 progetti in totale (più PMI possono essere coinvolte in un singolo progetto). Le PMI italiane hanno avuto grande successo con 34 aziende selezionate per i finanziamenti, seguite da imprese spagnole (30) ed inglesi (18). La maggior parte dei progetti riguarda l’ambito delle ICT (29), seguito da trasporti e low-carbon energy systems (entrambi 24). I risultati della valutazione sono i seguenti:
I progetti selezionati per i finanziamenti previsti dalla Fase 1 riceveranno 50 mila euro per studi di fattibilità per nuovi prodotti. A partire dal lancio del Programma Horizon 2020 il primo gennaio 2014, l’EASME 1840 PMI sono state selezionate. Lo scorso 9 novembre è stata chiusa la quarta ed ultima cut-off date del 2016. La prossima cut-off date è fissata al 15/02/2017, per tutti i topics dello Sme Instrument fase 1:

- SMEInst-05-2016-2017 Supporting innovative SMEs in the healthcare biotechnology sector;
- SMEInst-06-2016-2017 Accelerating market introduction of ICT solutions for Health, Well-Being and Ageing Well;
- SMEInst-07-2016-2017 Stimulating the innovation potential of SMEs for sustainable and competitive agriculture, forestry, agri-food and bio-based sectors;
- SMEInst-08-2016-2017 Supporting SMEs efforts for the development – deployment and market replication of innovative solutions for blue growth;
- SMEInst-09-2016-2017 Stimulating the innovation potential of SMEs for a low carbon and efficient energy system;
- SMEInst-10-2016-2017 Small business innovation research for Transport and Smart Cities Mobility;
- SMEInst-11-2016-2017 Boosting the potential of small businesses in the areas of climate action, environment, resource efficiency and raw materials;
- SMEInst-12-2016-2017 New business models for inclusive, innovative and reflective societies;
- SMEInst-13-2016-2017 Engaging SMEs in security research and development.
