Lo scorso 15 giugno è scaduta la terza cut-off date del 2016 per lo SME Instrument phase 2 del programma Horizon 2020. L’EASME (Executive Agency for SMEs) ha ricevuto in totale 1189 nuove proposte da 18 paesi. Fin’ora sono 529 le PMI che hanno ricevuto finanziamenti per la fase 2 nell’ambito dello SME Instrument. Il numero delle proposte per ciascun topic è il seguente:

- SMEInst-09-2016-2017 Stimulating the innovation potential of SMEs for a low carbon and efficient energy system: 152

La Commissione Europea investirà un totale di 90 milioni di euro in 65 PMI innovative. I 56 progetti selezionati riceveranno fino a 2,5 milioni di euro di finanziamenti a fondo perduto (5 milioni per i progetti in ambito health) per attività di innovazione. Le PMI spagnole hanno avuto più successo con 19 imprese che riceveranno 20,6 milioni in totale. Sono seguite da 7 PMI italiane con 8,6 milioni di euro e 6 PMI tedesche con 7,7 milioni. La maggior parte dei progetti sono nel campo delle ICT con 12 proposte finanziate, 9 nel settore dei trasporti e 7 in ambito low carbon energy efficient systems.
